Gaëlle DUFOUR is a researcher and Director of Research at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS). She earned her Ph.D. in atmospheric sciences from Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC) and conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Waterloo, Canada, and the Laboratory of Dynamic Meteorology (École Polytechnique, France). In 2006, she joined the Laboratoire Interuniversitaire des Systèmes Atmosphériques (LISA – UMR 7583) at Université Paris Cité, Université Paris Est Créteil, and CNRS.
Her research focuses on studying atmospheric composition related to air quality and climate using satellite observations, modeling, and data assimilation.
