Éric BRÉMOND, born in Le Brusc, France, in 1986, graduated from the École Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier in 2009 and completed his doctorate in theoretical chemistry at Chimie ParisTech in 2012. After two years as a post-doctoral fellow at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland, he took up a second post-doctoral position at the Istituto Italiano di Technologia in Genoa, Italy, where he stayed for three years.

In September 2017, he secured a permanent position and became an associate professor at Université Paris Cité. His primary research focuses on the developments and applications of DFT and TDDFT at the molecular level, with a particular emphasis on molecular plasmonics.
